SOBO BADÈ: THE ORIGIN OF THE GESTURE
In 2024, at the Sobo Badè House of Cultures in Senegal, five thrones emerge from the canvas. At that moment, ÀṢẸKEMET does not yet exist. There is no system, no mythology, only an intuition: the armchair as a symbol of sovereignty, a presence that transcends the object.
Back in 2021, the first Guardians appeared in my digital creations, without me yet understanding that they heralded an entire universe. These fragments awaited their language.
In 2026, everything falls into place. The thrones find their structure, the Guardians their function, and the whole becomes a coherent architecture: ÀṢẸKEMET. What was once just intuition becomes vision.
Two families were then born:
The Horned Thrones, inspired by real African seats, bearers of memory and stability. The Chromatic Thrones, bursts of colours and symbols, a celebration of vibrant Africa.
These works, created in Africa and exhibited today at Niani Beach Dialaw, are the first stones of a language that revealed itself to me before I even knew it existed.
ACQUISITION & EXHIBITION
The five original canvases, historical witnesses to the residence at Sobo Badè, are currently entrusted to Niani Beach Dialaw (Senegal). They are presented there to a clientele of informed collectors and are available for purchase.
To extend this experience, Maison FOFIZ offers three ways to engage with these works, all created by Blakfofiz:
- The Masterpiece: Reinterpretation in oil or acrylic based on the 3D model. Unique piece.
- The Resin Sculpture: Physical rendering of the throne. Limited edition, bespoke finishes.
- Fine Art Printing: High-definition digital print on museum paper, numbered and signed.
Each artwork is accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.

Digital Alchemy: From Web to Volume
The process of creating Maison FOFIZ is a transmutation. Starting with physical artworks, artificial intelligence intervenes not as a substitute, but as an extension of the artist's hand. It allows the painting to be projected into the third dimension, transforming each brushstroke into a virtual sculpture ready to inhabit real space.
